Albert Einstein believed in the importance of imagination. He said that knowledge has limits, but your imagination has no limits at all. In an interview published on October 26, 1929 in "The Saturday Evening Post" Einstein said, "I'm enough of an artist to draw freely on my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world." Einstein was a curious and imaginative person with an appreciation of the creative arts, literature, music, and creativity in general. He thought that creativity is intelligence having fun! Helping people understand what Einstein believed about imagination and creativity is one of the most important goals of Discover Con.
